I’m awake.

So it’s almost 1:30 in the morning, I still have a lot of work to do, and I am tired, yet not ready to sleep. Procrastination time!

My dog is turning one year old at some point within the next few days (I’m making his official birthday 3 months from the day they found him wandering the street, so Saturday September 3 he “turns” 1.

To celebrate, I found this cute game at CVS for $4. I’ve been wanting to get him one of these logic games for dogs for a while, but they are usually super expensive. Glad I didn’t spend a lot of money on it, because Buddy is crazy smart and figured all 3 of the built in games within seconds. Here is one of them:

I figured since I”m emptying my phone out of random videos, I’d share a couple of other choice moments in Buddy’s life with me thus far. I take a lot of videos of my dog. I am a crazy dog lady and I am completely Ok with that.

Buddy plays many roles in my life:

Guard Dog:

He is my hero. Lord knows what I’d have done if the floating DVD monster got me.

Comedian:

Student:

(I found this pet carrier on sale at CVS for $4, and while I probably wont’ use it for actual air travel since I’m scared he’d rip his way out of the mesh in a stressful situation, I’m going to attempt to use it acclimate him tobeing in a smaller space  months in advance, so when/if we do take a trip together, he’s not a crazy!)

Snuggle Buddy:

Having a puppy has encouraged all sorts of different kinds of patience and love to come out of me, stuff I never would have expected I’d ever have to tap into. It rules. Happy Birthday, McBudderston!
